OFFER OF SETTLEMENT
WONTHAGCI COAL STRIKE
MELBOURNE, July 10. . The State Ministry has made what is termed the final offer for a settlement of the prolonged strike at the Wonthaggi coalmine, which was originally caused by the dismissal of certain miners and a refusal to reinstate them.
It is expected that the terms will be accepted by the Miners' Union.
