SWALLOWED A GOLF TEE

SYDNEY, July 10.

The'eight-year-old daughter of Killara residents suffered an agonising death 'when a small golf teo became firmly wedged in her throat.

The distracted mother did her best to dislodge the tec, but the child rapidly lost consciousness and died before a doctor arrived. A post-mortem revealed the teo resting loosely between the larynx and the gullet The child swallowed the tee while playing in a yard with other children.
