CONTRACT FOR BRIDGE OVER WAIKATO
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAMILTON, July 10. The tender of the Roose' Shipping Company, Mercer, for the construction of a. new bridge across the Waikato River, at Fairfield was accepted by the Waikato County Council today. Thirteen contractors submitted tenders for the work, the Boose Shipping Company's price (£22,426 Is sd) being the lowest. The others ranged from £25,132 to £42,203, and were submitted from as far afield as Christchurch. ..
