LONDON, May 15. A view of tho giant Cunarder was one of the sights Sir James Parr enjoyed on his official visit to Glasgow. Later at the Lord Provost's luncheon at which tho Secretary of State for Scotland was present, the High Commissioner alluded to the low price of butter us a pall on the community and reminded Glasgow that while 7000 tons of New Zealand butter was landed last year, a nearby port received 23,000 tons of Danish. He also mentioned that in the last six years nine largo liners had been built at Glasgow, exclusively for the New Zealand trade.
