CHEISTCHTJRCH, This Day. The Dominion recitation for women (own' selection) at the Christehurch Competitions was won by Miss Gracio Kerr (Wellington) with 92 points. Miss Kathleen Bead (St. Albans, Christchurch) was second with 8£ point 3, and Miss Nanna Newey (Dunedin) third with 81.
Miss Kbit also won the character sketch (man or woman), not Shakespearean.
