BISHOP SUPPORTED
UNANIMOUS RESOLUTION
ST. ANDREW'S, CAMBRIDGE

CAMBEIDGE, This Day.
At the annual meeting of parishioners of tho St. Andrew's Anglican parish last night the Bishop of the diocese, Dr. C. A. Cherrington, acting-vicar of Cambridge, declared emphatically in reply to an Ohaupo parishioner's request that the Eev. G. Bell's affairs be further investigated, that the living of St. Andrew's was vacant, that Mr. Bell was no longer .licensed in any capacity in the parish, nor would he (tho Bishop) renew'the licence under any consideration.
The meeting carried a resolution unanimously approving the ; entire action taken by the Bishop in removing Mr.Bell from office and confirmed jthe appointment of the vestry and other officers elected at the meeting held on May 1, ■■' • ' '
Bishop Cherrington made a strong plea to the parishioners now to get together and restore the parish to its formpr influential position.
