MR. JOHN HOWELL

The deatli of Mr. John Howell, occurred at his residence in Levin, after a short illness, on Friday, writes "The Post's" Levin correspondent. The late Mr. Howell was 75 years of. age. Mr. and Mrs. Howell celebrated their golden, wedding last month. Mr. Howell arrived in Levin in 1879, and, after being engaged in various oecupai tions, finally took up farming at Koputaroa. The deceased, who was one of the oldest residents of Levin, was a foundation member of both the Levin. Racing Club and the Horowhenua A. and P. Association.
