CAMBRIDGE MATCH
AUSTRALIA'S INNINGS WIN
(Received May 12, 10 a.m.)
LONDON, May 11. Players outnumbered spectators when play was resumed. MeCabo took his place in the field. Dinwiddy and Jehangir Khan wore soon out, but Cox and Davies scored feely from 'Wall. This ninth-wicket partnership proved so difficult to break that Grimmett was called on, though originally it was not intended that he should bowl today. Cox and Davies rapidly added 46. before Ebeling uprooted Davies's "middle stump. Tho last wicket added 43. Cox was unconquered . with top score for the University. His was an enterprising innings. He batted seventyiivo minutes and hit nine 4's. The Australian fielding, with the exception of Bradman and Brown, compared poorly with Cambridge's speed, dash, and brilliant picking up.
