RACE GOES ON APACE-
Miss Marjorie Young has been-chosea by the- Y.W.C.A. to compete ■• in the ""Girls? Marathon" as the directors' "representative, and the board;members are now busy speeding their runner over; tthe track. .-- ..."■". :- - ;
The stormy weather did not interfere with a social and danco held by thestaff of Messrs. J. E. McKenzie (Cuba, Street-branch), in honour: of their runner, Miss Brogan, and it was a pleasant function. Games arranged'by : Mr; Edridge were enjoyed by all, a.balloou game causing great merriment.
