In the run home Mountain Jewel was always the winner, to score by two lengths from Black Shadow. Vacation was half a length back, then Bright Voyage. In the straight Palmary came last, wide out, and beat Signaller nicely by a length, with Black Duke three lengths away. Steeton was fourth. Time, 2min 16s.ee. Entering the straight again West Dome dumped his rider, and Ecclofechan and French Fleet led Calham and Father O'Flynn. At the fenco at tho fivo furlongs French Fleet fell and Ecclefechan came on to win easily by eight lengths from Father O'Flynn. Calham was six lengths away, then came Andy. Time, 4min 2scc.
