THE CITY MISSION
GENEROUS FRIENDS
The treasurer's report which will be presented at the annual meeting of the City Mission tonight states that the number of debentures taken up during the year was encouraging as they totalled £1450, but one of £50 was redeemed, owing to special circumstances, leavin" a liability oj £4375 under this heading. There were 51 debentures varying in sums of £25 to £550; and several of the holders had most generously returned their interest cheques. The" offertories and donations both showed a decline.
