Admiral R. E. Byrd icports from Little America that tho days have shortened, the sunlight has become dimmed, and the four months' long night • lias officially started. ' Admiral ' Byrd has named his post "Boiling Advance Weather Station." Tho men of tho winter party have all almost completed their outside tasks. The last barrier cache has been emptied of everything except a few bales of hay. Tho last of the food supplies has been hauled from Retreat Camp. The Weather is now-'too cold for tho dogs, and has almost stopped tho tractors, but one will be kept in readiness to rush to Admiral Byrd's assistance if necessary, though it is doubtful if it could reach its destination. '
