HONOUR FOR SORTER
Sii- Kingslcy Wood, the British Post-master-General, recently presontod the 0.8. E. modal sit the King's command to Mr. H. T. B. TJeod, a Post Office sorter. He lias devoted nearly forty years of his lifo to social service among boys, and since 1909 almost entirely to boy messengers of the London Postal Service. The presentation was made in the presence of a deputation of boy messengers from every London district. Mr. Reed, who "was himself a messenger boy in 1888, is duo to retire shortly. He is sixty; years old.
