WIND SWEEPS HARBOUR

Today s strong southerly wind moved anything :in the harbour that was not securely made fast. This morniug a small'boat'broke adrift from1 one of the hulks moored in the stream, and was later picked up well down the harbour by- a launch

The small coastal steamer Mahurangi, which, has been anchored in Evans Bay for some months, "drifted towards!the mouth of the bay, dragging her anchor. She was towed back again by the Terawhiti.
