INQUEST OPENED
ADJOURNED SINE DIE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIPUKURAU, This Day: An inquest was opened before Dr" H. W. M. Kendall, district Coroner. Evidence of identification was given by John Williams Helm, single, who is employed ,oh the Hunter estate at Porangahau as foreman of Papakihihau station. He stated that the deceased had been there for the past twelve months employed as a casual labourer. He had been working for the last three' months as a cook.- As a result of something witness was told he went to the dming-room, where he" found the deceased lying on his back on the floor. vVilliains died without speaking within a minute of witness's arrival. He identified the body. Witness stated that the deceased had been on tha ','swag" prior to being engaged at ' Porangahau station. .'."-' •-
At the request of Detective-Sergeant J- Bickerdyke, the. inquest was adjouraed sine die. '
