DOG SHOW
FANCIERS COMBINE
THE PRIZE WINNERS
The dog parade towards which the Alsatian, bulldog, toy dog, and other clubs combined, held at the Trades Hall on Saturday, was one oi the beitt and most interesting yet held in Wellington. The entries probably set a record. Alsatians were first in number of entries, and then came cocker spaniels and terriers, with a good following of other breeds. The honour of best dog in the show went to Mr. G. T. Murphy's Irish setter Ch. Cornelistone Baron of Eatho. ■ There was a very satisfactory attendance of fanciers and also of visitors. Yesterday the annual picnic was held at Maidstone Park. Fanciers and their friends were welcomed by the president (Mr. William Barke) and a pleasant day was spent.
