'. A decision was made at the annual meeting of the Kaiwarra Club last night aPl^ t Pr°Posed-amalgamation with the Onslow Club, a sub-committee set up to go into the matter having reported m favour of the Kaiwarra Club continuing on its own. The meeting was presided over by Mr. E.: W.. Barnes, who, in reviewing the club's, activities, stated that although the credit balance had decreased from £9 7s lid to A£6 ' 14s 5d in the past year this was /directlyattri_utabl« to the .financial depression, and" wae no cause for concern: Taking everything into consideration the club-had had a successful year. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. H.- H. Sterling;. president, Mr. R. E. Flaws; chairman, Mr. E. W. Barnes; delegate to Rugby Union. Mr. E. ,W. Barnes; club captain, Mry'F. Henderson; hon. secretary, Mr. G. Mutton; . hon. treasurer,' Mr. A. Brown; hon. auditor Mr. E. W. Barnes. The list of vice-pre-sidents remains as before. -Messrs A Henderson, F. F. Tietjens, and ___. Sheridan were elected to the management committee in the. place of Messrs.- J. Hartnett, E. Newport, and T. Kribs. Otherwise the personnel was unchanged. The election of coaches was left to a general meeting to be held later. The management committee suggested that something should-be done the inadequacy of the Kaiwarra-football ground, and a motion was passed to the ettect that a deputation consisting of Messrs. R. E. Flaws, F. Tietjens, F. Henderson, B. and E. W. Barnes wait on the Kugby Union in regard to permittinz junior B teams to play on the Kaiwarra ground. . ' _.
