GRAIN AND PRODUCE
AUCKLAND MARKET PRICES (By Telegraph) (Special to the "Evening Post.") j ' AUCKLAND, March 6. ' No important changes have taken place in the grain and produce markets since last report. Pollard is in good demand, and the. recent increase in milling prices does not appear to have checked sales. Bran is selling steadily. B Garton oats are still quoted at 3s 3d a bushel, and oaten sheaf chaff at £7 10s to £7 15s a ton, with a slack demand for both, as pasturage is abundant throughout the province. y Supplies of wheat are readilyobtainable from the south at late rates. ■ The autumn crops of potatoes from Pukekohe are now becoming available, and supplies from that source,, together with those from Auckland suburban districts, are ample for requirements. ' The market is in. consequence a little easier. It does not seem likely that there will be any need to draw on Canterbury for several weeks yet. Onions are now available in large quantities, and some portion of the surplus was shipped to Canada by the Aorangi today.
