BASKETBALL
The second annual meeting of the United Basketball Club was held on Monday at the residence of Mrs. B. O. Affleck (president). The following officers were elected for the ensuing season:—Mrs. B. O. Affleck (president), Miss A. Phillips (secretary). Miss G. Holmes (club captain), committee, Misses B. Holmes, M. Webster, Z. Affleck, and Mrs.'S. Henesy. A successful season is anticipated. A vote of thanks was passed to the chair, and a dainty supper was served. . .
