GREYJIOUTH, February 27,
The creditors of Eeginald Laurence Leech, who was recently declared bankrupt, and who after a .brief but active career as a grocer disappeared from Greymouth at the beginning of the month, met today. , It was disclbscd that debts to unsecured creditors total £3050, including nearly £1000 to a large Wellington firm. The deficiency is approximately '£1156. Leech's manager stated that Leech had taken various amounts away with him, and no trace had been found of them.
It was decided that tho assignee should investigate the affaiis of Leech and ascertain i£ there -were sufficient grounds to endeavour to locate his whereabouts, and lay an information under the pcual'section of the Bankruptcy Act.
