Greenhorn,, who was reported to bo showing .signs of lameness early in the week, proved all right and galloped seven furlongs in lmin 33sec on the cinders. Vauntry did.half a mile on the sand in' 52scc. . '
■Our Gomet galloped, a mile- and a quarter-in 2min 17sec. Visage was going well at the end of five furlongs on the grass, taking lmin 44sec for his.task. Astronomy and Septima covered a similar distance- in lmin ssee. Linmarch and Dole covered a quartermile smartly in 2oscc. - The Cracksman and Good Effort, a juniper, covered a mile iti lmin. 52sec.
