Mince-' Pie (J.., Duncan) covered, a mile and a quarter, the last mile taking lmin 47see and the last four furlongs olsec.
Trivento and . Ethnarcli did a mile and a half in 2min 45isce, the last five furlongs taking lmin Bsee, ,and the.last ten furlongs 2min lGsec. Arachno (11. Cook) galloped a halfmile in 59sec> Ramado and Off- Duty.; did five furlongs in lmin 4sec,J finishing together. On the grass Peter Jackson (R.Rollinson) galloped a mile comfortably in lmin 49sec, tlie first six furlongs taking lmin 21sec. Sardino (A. Powell) galloped a mile and a quarter in 2min lGsec. Deputy Ruler did two furlongs in 27J sec.
Greenlaw did the best three furlongs gallop, taking 37see. ' Anyday (T. Dynon) galloped half a mile in 49scc.
