MARAUDING REBEL; BANDS
(Received February 24, 1 p.m.) CALCUTTA, February 23. Heavy fighting is reported at Mingmao in Chinese territory near the border of the Northern Shan States of Burma, marauding rebel bands attacking, and looting small towns, The trouble is believed to be in. connection with a rebellion in adjacent territory three months ago. The Burma: Government is closely patrolling the frontier in order to prevent rebels raiding British territory. ■' ' - . '.'"■■
