The Postmaster-General, Sir Kingsley Wood, mentioned this interesting fact in, a speech at Lincoln today when he referred to the immense strides made, in the science of communications. '■;■'. J
Today by lifting a telephone receiver a British subscriber could speak to Canada, the United States, South America, India, Australia, New Zealand, and South; Africa, Sir Kingsley Wood said. Ho hoped that Japan would be added this year. . : '..- '
