RESTORATION TO PARENTS
A MODERN ROMANCE
SYDNEY, January 9. A girl of 12 years, whose parents are now in New Zealand, and whose case has had the attention of seven Governments,'.is: duo'to arrive at Sydney on Thursday aboard the Atsuta Ma'ru en routo to New Zealand. .Her name is Galina. Bogatiroff. 11 or parents, escaping from the Bolshevik revolution, were compelled to leave the child behind owing to privations and illness, since when sho has been 'cared for by friendly unknown people. The Bed Cross Society finally traced her at Stretensky, Siberia, and Captain Galloway, secretary of tho New Zealand lied Cross, was largely instrumental in completing negotiations for her restoration to-her parents. It is described hero as one of the romances of modern times, thanks to the international aspect of the Bed Cross. . The girl will be cared for upon ar^ rival on Thursday by the Red Cross and sails for New Zealand by the Wanganella.
