WELLINGTON BEAT MIRAMAR
An inter-club match was.played at'Heretaunga yesterday between the Wellington Ladies' Golf Club and the Miramar Ladies Golf Club, Wellington winning by 14 games to 6, and one match squared. The following is a detailed account, Wellington being mentioned first;— Mrs. Blain and Miss Hanson, all square,-Miss Ward won from Mrs. Foreman, 3 and 2; Mrs. WeltonHogg won from Mrs. Banks, 3 and 2; Miss Bell won from Mrs. Ward, '2 up; Miss Batton lost to Miss Taylor, 4 and 2; Mrs. Brodie lost to Mrs. Ancell, 6 and 4; Miss Blundell won from Mrs. Endean, 2 and 1; Miss Wheeler won from Mrs. Sutherland^ 4 and 2; Mrs. Seddon won from Miss Briton-Smith, 3 and 1; Miss M.« Peacock won from Miss Plimmer, 6 and 5; Miss Grose won from Mrs. Andrews, 8 and 6; Mrs. G. Nathan lost to Mrs. Hanson, 3 and 2; Mrs. C. Bell lost to Mrs. Maudesley, 4 and 2; Mrs. B. B. Wood won from Mrs. Pope, 3 and 2; Miss Gilmer won from Mrs. Johansen, 2 and 1; Mrs. Howden won from Mrs. Schneider, 4 and 2; Mrs. S. Paterson lost to Miss J.
