PRICE OF BUTTER IMPROVES
Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., have today received from their principals,. Trcngrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, the following cable advice, dated November 29, as follows:—"New Zealand butter, 73s to 74s per cwt. Quiet. New Zealand cheese, \v-bite 49s per cwt, coloured 48s. Steady. The same firm's advice, dated London, November 28, was New Zealand butter, 70s to 72s per cwt. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Limited has received the following advice from its London House dated November 29:—Dairy produce (last week's' quotations in parentheses) : Butter, . New Zealand choicest salted, 73s per cwt (80s to 81s); market steadier. Cheese, white, 49s per cwt (47s to 48s); small supplies available. Cheese, coloured, 47s per cwt (47s to 48s); market
A. H. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their principals W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., London, dated November 29:—"Butter: Danish U2s per cwt; New Zealand finest, 71s to 74s- "Kangaroo" finest, 69s to 725. Cheese: New Zealand, white 49s to 50s per cwt, coloured 46s to 475. Markets are steadier.
