The Local Authorities Interest Reduction "and Loans Conversion Amendment Bill was received from the House of Representatives, read a second time, and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee.

Tho Scenery. Breservation Bill, tho "Weights and Measures Bill, and tho Orchard Tax Amendment Bill were received from the House and read a ■first time.

The Egmont, National Park Bill; which was received from the llouso, ■was read a second time and referred to the Lands Committee.
