GERMANY'S POPULATION
LOSSES SINCE 1914
(Received November 30, 2.45 p.m.) BERLIN, November 29.
Although Germany's population has increased 2,700,000 in the .last' eight years, it is still 2,500,000 short of the pre-war figure of 67,000,000, according to the census. Dr. Burgdorfer, the Chief of the Statistical Bureau, declares that Germany has lost 13,000,000 of her population since 1914, including 6,000,000 due to the war, of which. 2,000,000 were killed and 750,000 died owing to the blockade, while births felt by 3,500,000. • The remainder of .the loss is due to annexations front Germany.
