The "Happy Moments" art union is being drawn in the Concert Chamber of the Town' Hall this afternoon. There •was an audience, and the usual .quaint nOms-derplume, most of them anticipatory of success, provided an eleniont). of humour to relieve some of the suspense.of ticket-holders present in the hall. ' ■
Although i th? number of unsold . tickets drawn in the first hour or so was comparatively small, the larger prizes proved ' vfcry elusive. Wellington ticket-holders, were well in the : hunt during that period so far as. the £5 prizes;., were ..concerned.• The> art .union was organised by Messrs. B.i- L. Hammond and N. McAithur.-. .Sergeant H. H. Russell was-present at the- drawing for the Polices Department,' and Mr. J. W. Hutchen .represented: tho Internal Affairs Department.. ,-V .
