LOAN COUNCIL DECISION

MELBOURNE, This pay.
The Loan Council has decided to raise a loan of £10,000,000, half to be utilised to fund outstanding Treasury bills and half to be applied for a loan works programme for various Governments. The loan will be underwritten By the Commonwealth Bank, the terms being 3-V per cent, at £99 for a period of ten years. ~'■..'■
