NEW ZEALAND CHAMPION-

SHIPS

CHRISTCHURCH, November 6.

The New Zealand squash racquets championship was. decided on tlie Christchureh Club's courts over the weekend, the winner being P. D. Hall, of Christchurcb. The competitors included five naval officers and Captain J. Tweedie, A.D.C. to the Governor-General.

Results of the; semi-finals and final were as follows: —Semi-finals: V. T). Hall beat L. D. Cotterill, 10-8, 3-9, 9-2. 2-9, 10-8: D. W. J. Gould beat G. E. P. Kingscote, 10-8, 94, 9-4. Final: P. D. Hall beat D. W. J. Gould, 9-1/8-10, 9-6, 9 : 0. The next New 'Zealand championships will be played in June on the'courts at the Devonport naval basfe, Auckland.
