Mrs. 0. T. Evans, Wellington, is spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. J. H. Lord, Wellington, is among the visitors to Auckland. Mrs. Haslam, Wellington, has arrived. in Auckland for a visit. Mrs. J. F. Studhohne, Fcndaiton, is leaving for the south after a visit to Wellington. „ Mrs. W. Barton, Featherston, is pacing a brief visit to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. D. McClurg, Lower Hutt, who have been at Botorua, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. 0. V. Houghton, Auckland. . Among the guests at the Royal Oak Hotel are Mrs. B. Whyte (Napier), Mrs. IT. Cuthertson, Mrs. Sydney Turnbull, and Miss Mavis Turnbull (Invercargill). Mrs. A. H. Thompson, Christehurch, is visiting Wellington, and is staying at the Hotel 6t. George. The engagement is announced of Dr. E. E. Bailey, Ph.D., a New Zealander residing in London,; to Margaret, daughter of the late Sir Bobert Morant, states a Press Association cable message from London. Mrs. L. M. .Middlebrook and Miss B. E. Chappoll aro among recent Wellington visitors to the Hermitage, Mt. Cook. Miss V. A. Turtou, Mr. G. H. K. Young, and Mr. L. A. Whelan arc among New Zealanders. recently in London, mentioned, by "The Post's" special representative. Mrs. Sol Myers, Kelburn, has returned from a visit to Christehurch. Mrs. E. M. Sample, Island Bay, will return with her sister at the end of the week to Melbourne. Miss li. F. Moss- and Mrs. O. C. Ashton, Kongotai, returned to 'Wellington yesterday after a fortnight's tour in the Hot Lake district: Miss Nancy Fuller, Island Bay, has left for a visit to Hawke's Bay. Mrs. Bernard' Wood, Heretaunga, is the guest of her brother and sister-in-law, Sir Cyril and Lady Ward, at Merivale^ Christchurch, Miss L. Clark, Christchurch, is spending a holiday^ in. Wellington.
