REFUSAL OF EXTRADITION

WASHINGTON, November 5.
The State Department forwarded a sharp Note to Greece today, protesting against the refusal, of the Courts there to grant the extradiction of Samuel Insull, the- fugitive Chicago utilities magnate, who is under indictment i;i Chicago for defalcation in connection with th& collapse in 1932 of ■ his vast holdings. ..•■•■'. v . The Department's Note held that the Court's position was "utterly untenable" and formally denounced the existing Graeco-Amcrican. Extradition Treaty. ' • . •
