SHINGLE BARGE OVERTURNS

When being towed into Wellington from Pencarrow at 2 p.m. today the Pencarrow Sand and Shingle .Company's barge Maybelle overturned shortly after she had got into, the fairway at the Heads. 'She was in tow of the company's launch Robey 'and a southerly sea was running. The barge was towed up the harbour upside-down and will be righted later. There was no one on board the barge at the time of the mishap.
