FLOATING AERODROMES
SPACED ACROSS ATLANTIC
AMERICAN COMPANY FORMED
. NEW YORK, October 30. The Aerodrome Ocean Dock Corporation, formed in New York, intends toinstall five floating landing fields for aeroplanes between New York and Ireland. Under the corporation's plans aeroplanes would transport passengers across the Atlantic in twenty-four hours. The first station will be 400 miles off New York. Investors offer four millions for the scheme if the Government will subsidise the proposition with an additional thirty million dollars. Each float or dock will contain a hotel besides refuelling facilities. Colonel Lindbergh inquired into the proposition while he was in Europe.
