In a message addressed to the Consorvative candidate at the by-election proceeding in the Skipton division of Yorkshire, Mr. Stanley Baldwin reiterates tho Government's deep interest in the cause of, disarmament. Ho says: "The whole country, irrespective of party, is solidly united in favour of peace and disarmament by international agreement. The British Govornmont has • boon striving to achieve it, and there never was a time when it was more necessary for the people to give the Government their support on this issue." ■
