INCREASE IN PRODUCTION

FOREIGN IMPORTS TO BE CUT

(deceived October 30, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 29. Tho Ministry of Agriculture announces that the homo bacon industry in a single bound has reached a position it was not expected to attain before 1935. This will necessitate a further reduction of 1G per cent, in the imports of foreign bacon at the present rate homo production of about 3,000,000cwt compared with the 1930 output—the latest for which figures are available — of 1,750,000cwt.
