FARMER'S DEATH

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) . THAMES, This Day. A verdict of accidental death was returned at the inquest on Hilton Dal-1 gety, aged 39 years, a well-known farmer, of Pipiroa, who was found shot in the head, with a gin alongside him, yesterday after milking. The evidence showed that Mr. Dalgoty was in the best of health and had no worries. Having finished milking, he went to shoot quail, and asked his wife whero the cartridges were kept. A farmhand later found the body lying in a pool of blood near a whare. Part of the head had been shot away. Nobody heard a shot fired. The Coroner, Mr. Bougard, said lie had no hesitation in bringing in a ver diet of accidental death, adding that the gun was not in the best condition, tho barrels and hammers being loose.
