MILITARY APPOINTMENTS
Appointments in the New Zealand Military Forces recently gazetted include that of Major E. Puttick, 8.5.0., of the New Zealand Staff Corps, to be Lieutenant-Colonel, and that. of Lieutenant V. J. Innes to be Captain. Lieutenant-Colonel J. E,, ■ Cade, M.C., V.D., relinquishes command of the Ist Battalion of the Wellington West Coast Eegiment, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, his place being taken by Major W. S. Mc-Crorie, V.D., who is granted the rank of LieutenantColonel. Captain I!. S. Park, J?oyal New Zealand Artillery, is promoted to the .rank of Major.•■ Captain B. E.
