AN AMENDING BILL

The Curses' and Midwives' Kegistration Amendment BilJ came before the House of .Representatives for second reading this afternoon. Tlie Minister of Health (the Hon. •T. A. Young) said that the Bill was designed to remove certain Anomalies in the existing legislation. Mrs. E. E. McOombs (Labour, Lyttelton) commended the legislation, which, she said, safeguarded the rights of the nurses.
