ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
A meeting of the committee of. the .-Wellington Football Association was held in the Basin Reserve pavilion last night.. It was decided that if Petone beat Swifts on Saturday, Marist and: Petone should play off for the Ist division championship and the Williams Trophy on October 14. In the event of a draw, ten minutes extra should be,allowed eiich way for the Williams Trophy only. V • A complaintiwas received from the Seatoun Club regarding the- ineligibility of certain Onslow players: ■ The committee decided to take no action in tho matter.
