ACADEMY OPENING
VICEREGAL VISIT
An unusually large crowd attended the private view of the annual exhibition of the Now Zealand Academy of Fine Arts, which was opened last evening at tho Art Gallery, WMtmore Street, by his Excellency the GovernorGeneral. Accompanied by her Excellency, who wore a frock of pastel green georgette and laeo under a handsome white fur evening -wrap,.his Excellency was greeted by the president, Mr. D. A. Ewon, and members of tho council. After Lord'Bledisloe's opening speech, their Excellencies, who were attended by Captain J. W.
