Private advices received from Colombo by cable report a dearer market for all descriptions of tea with a very strong general demand, prices generally being VaA to -%d dearer. Thequantity to be auctioned next sale, is 2,250,0001b. Advice from Calcutta reports .a very stroug market with a general advance being registered for all descriptions. The London market continues to advance, all producing countries advising a dearer position generally. Quality continues average for the time of year.
