TARIFF BOARD'S REPORT
CANBEEEA, October 4. I The Tariff Board's report, arising out of its investigations of various industries, lias b'eenV tabled- in the House of Representatives. _ . The report recommends a reduction of 25 pet cent.-on most .items, in. the schedule and 12* per cent, on the remainder. This recommendation applies to goods from any country tho currency of which' at the date of the shipment of the goods is British sterling, or an appreciated relative to sterling, or nominally on a, sterling basis.
