Mr. Lyons stated that there had been a progressive reduction in unemployment from 30 per cent, in the second' quarter of 1932 to 25 per cent, in the soeond quarter of 1933. Speaking of the improvement in. Australia's credifc he said that the latest advices from London showed that Commonwealth 5 per cents, were quoted at a higher iato-than New Zealand's fives, while the Commonwealth's fours'wore quoted higher than Canada's fours.
