Richard Barthelmess and Sally Eilers are starred at tho ,Jliucstlc Theatro this week in "Central Airport." It is h story of ani unusual side of life, the adventures of an air pilot who is forced out of servico as tho result of a bad crack-up in a storm and has to take to a flying circus for a living. Xhe tlieme of the Dim, his romance with an attractive parachute Jumper, reaches complications when the pilot's younger brother, fretting at being taken off his work as test pilot for an aero-plane-building firm, decides to go aloft again, and does It in circumstances which inevitably bring him into close companionship with the girl. The developments from the moment when Jim Blalne, tho elder brother, Is left in hospital and Neil Blalne takes his place are dramatic and exceptionally well presented. The aim reaches Its climax In another storm which provides the opportunity for a deed of heroism by Jim. In this vivid film of aero llfo there is much that Is new and absorbing, and the two excellent stars have tho support of a big cast.
