Offerings at the London wool sales today were 7902 bales, including 3910 bales | New Zealand. About 5925 bales were sold. The firm tone of the market was maintained, with keen Home and Continental competition. .. _ Some withdrawals were made, chiefly of slipes, owing to high limits placed •on them. . ~ ... Queensland greasy merinos sold at ua, New South Wales merinos at lid: Victorian at 21d; and Western Australian at 17 %d. Scoured merinos from Queensland made 27>._d; from South Australia, 24d. New Zealand scoured merino branded "Brooksdale. Hiko," made 22d highest and 21 3-Sd average. New Zealand greasy crossbreds, Invermaille," made 13% d; "NSWK," 12% d highest, 9 3-Sd average.
