The annual tournament of the Manawatu Jjadies' Golf Club opens at Hokowhitu tomorrow week, and special interest attaches to the fixture in view of the announcement tliat Miss Oliver Kay, who recently won tlie Australian championship, will be a competitor. As the tournament is the forerunner of the New Zealand ladies' championship meeting, Miss Bessie Gaisford, ex-cnampion of New Zealand, is almost certain to play at Hokowhitu.
