NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION
The 'sixteenth annual general meeting of- the New Zealand Motor Trade Association (Inc.) was held in Wellington yesterday. Delegates were present from all parts of the Dominion. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Colonel H. E. Avery (Wellington); vicepresidents, Mr. W. Grieve (lnvercargill) and Mr. E. W. Merewether (Wanganui); treasurer, Mr. J. F. Cousins (Wellington); auditor, Mr. E. B. Jennings, F.P.A.N.Z. (Palmerston North); council, Messrs. J. Seabrook (Auckland), W. B. Pomeroy (Hamilton), G. A. Nicholls (Gisborne), G. Hughau. -(Cartel-ton), R. Mortlock 'Hawera), E. W. Merewether (Wanganui), G. Wallace-(Te Ar.oha),-C. Scott (Nelson), F. J. Smallbone (Ashburton), H. J. Jenkins (Oamaru), Jas. Black (Duncdih), A. E. Bath (lnvercargill); executive,. Colonel H. E. Avery (Wellington), Messrs. F. B. Cadman (Auckland), E. J. M. Ferguson (New Plymouth), G. W. Tench (Christclmrch), E. W. Merewether (Wanganui), W. Grieve (lnvercargill), H. J. Jenkins (Oamaru).
The business of the meeting was taken in committee.
